30 YEAR OF RAINFOREST ALLIANCE
The recent announcement by President Donald Trump that he is pulling the United States of America out of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change has seen the rest of the world concerned what message this sends to other governments and industry leaders in how to combat climate change in planet Earth. UKVending takes its environmental responsibility very seriously and is a member of the Rainforest Alliance.
In 2017 the Rainforest Alliance celebrated its 30th anniversary as a global leader in the fight to conserve forests and natural resources around the globe. Through their work the organisation also provides a stable platform for sustaining local livelihoods in some of the poorest areas of the planet. Many of these areas are where coffee, tea and cocoa are grown and at UKVending we want to know that our business activities are good for us and good for the planet too. The Rainforest Alliance has achieved a huge number of success stories over those three decades and these have only been achievable through dedication and hard work and the establishment of strategic partnerships at every stage in the supply chain from growers, producers to companies like UKVending and to large multinational companies.
