A glass of water perhaps?
We are all told to drink more water every day to stay hydrated and well; but how many of us actually drink what we should?
The average human body contains around 60 per cent water and we lose a lot through perspiration every single day, so we have to top it up daily. Yet despite that nearly a third of all Britons rarely drink water.
20 per cent say they last drank a glass of water over a week ago according to a survey conducted by Robinson’s the firm behind the famous squash drink.
So why do we as a nation shun water so readily, in the study many said that water was simply too ‘boring’ or ‘lacked taste’.
For the record it is recommended that adults should drink between 2 and 2.5 litres of water every day.
