An artistic use of a teabag
Artists will always tell you that one of the biggest problems for their profession is finding enough space to display their works. Walls all too soon are filled with large canvas’s and galleries can only display so much.
So, retired teacher Jan Heath, came up with a cunning plan that was also very environmentally friendly. She would use old teabags. Yes, she painted her works of art on the sides of old used teabags.
The former coffee drinker has made a bulk teabag order and asked friends and family to send her unusually-labelled ones.
“I am recycling them, I guess,” she said.
“I don’t know how long they will last framed, but they should last as long as an acrylic painting.”
