Britons still in love with a good cuppa

We Brits love our tea, and to prove it’s a tradition that shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon the latest figures show we’re drinking more tea than ever.

Cuppa Lovers annually, according to a new survey, use a whopping 61 billion tea bags every year. On average that is four tea bags per person per day or around 167 million every day across the United Kingdom.

The National Lockdown of 2020 and early part of this year also saw more of us reaching for a teabag and the kettle and brewing up a nice relaxing cup of tea to sooth our weary minds and bodies according to the survey conducted on behalf of JING tea.
