Dark chocolate good for combating depression
Another report has confirmed that dark chocolate is good for combating the symptoms of depression.
The study jointly conducted by University College London, Alberta Health Services Canada and the University of Calgary studied the habits of 13,626 adults. Various health factors were considered and noted before the study began.
The individuals were then tested to see how dark chocolate affected their moods. Those who ate dark chocolate in any two 24 hour periods were found of have 70 per cent lower odds of reporting clinically relevant depressive symptoms than those who are no chocolate at all.
Further study is being conducted into how dark chocolate affects human moods.
