Experience the new KLIX ECO in-cup

UK Vending is at the leading edge of vending machine recycling technologies and as part of this leading role we are over the next few months we are replacing the existing KLIX in cup with the new ECO paper in-cup.

In recent years the world has become aware of the problems of recycling paper cups and this new innovative cup offers a truly sustainable solution for hot drinks.  It is a first of its kind in the vending industry and is made of a biodegradable and recyclable patented water-based dispersion barrier board and PEFC accredited paper construction. What is more the cups have materials sourced from sustainably managed forests, guaranteeing a low environmental impact.

The KLIX Eco cup can be recycled up to seven times offering a reduction of almost 60 per cent on its Life Cycle Assessment, according to WSP. Additionally, each cup will also cause no harm to the environment as they are also biodegradable.

What makes the KLIX Eco Cup unique? 

KLIX Eco Cup represents a breakthrough innovation, a first in in-cup vending, due to its special formulation that includes a water-based dispersion coating that makes it recyclable into general paper waste. In other cups of this type, the cups have a Polyethylene (PE) or bioplastic coating that makes them uneconomic to recycle in large quantities. The new coating is a mixture of natural and synthetic polymers allowing each individual KLIX ECO cup to be recycled into the regular paper waste stream.

By using KLIX ECO in-cups from UK Vending you could reduce your carbon footprint by over two thirds (63 percent) rather than using more traditional in-cup paper cups and because they can be recycled up to seven-times you’ll also be reducing the number of cups ending up in landfill.
