Myth 1: It’ll keep you awake

Myth 2: Drinking coffee will dehydrate you

The one thing you’ll probably notice more than anything else about your coffee is that it is a liquid, made up mostly of water. This water more than makes up for any dehydrating effects the coffee itself might have on your body.

Myth 3: Coffee will cure your night on the town

Coffee may make you feel less groggy and more alert, but curing the excess of alcohol in your body, sorry, not a chance.

Myth 4: You need to use boiling water

No. Simply no. Any hot water above 200 degrees F will begin the process of extracting the bitter oils from the grounds and even scorch them releasing a bitter burnt taste when boiling water is used directly on grounds.
