National Vending Machine Day

You probably didn’t know this but today is a special day for all Vending Machine Companies across the United States. It is National Vending Machine Day.

Thursday 7 March 2019 is the first of its kind celebration of all those who make, sell, enjoy and love vending machines and the products they bring.

The US National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) has sought to recognise the work vending machine companies do across the United States. In 2018 the industry generated nearly $25 billion to the American economy and has a stronghold in every community across the country. The industry supports 140,000 jobs as well as providing an invaluable service to consumers.

NAMA said: “Vending machines are used millions of times each day and provide a fun, convenient way to make consumers happy and get what they want. I am sure that this day will be seen by consumers as a way to celebrate something that is often taken for granted,”
