NHS Big Tea Party
This year the NHS celebrates its 74th anniversary, which is simply an awesome achievement. It got us thinking about how many cups of tea that National Health Service provides its patients every single year?
As part of the celebrations this year on 5 July there will be the largest NHS Big Tea Party ever. The event is designed to raise tea-fuelled funds to support over six hundred projects across the UK. This year the NHS is going big to support 1.5 million NHS staff and volunteers.
You can host your tea party on 5th July in celebration of the NHS’ birthday or whenever and wherever suits you. You’ll be joining the nation, as thousands of par-teas are held and millions of tea bags squeezed in homes, schools, workplaces, community centres, church halls and hospitals.
And every cuppa makes a difference.
