Sizzling teas to try on Valentine’s Day and er..night too!

We all hope to receive something special from our love one this Valentine’s Day, but how would you react if you received a box of tea bags? Well if you receive a particular brand of tea bags you should expect to have a wonderful time on Valentines, as this particular brand has been proved to have some aphrodisiacal qualities.

In a place called Tarzana in California, a company called the California Tea House has developed Apricot Chai tea. The people behind the company have researched extensively through the history books to find just the right combination of ingredients to set pulses and hearts racing, or as the company itself says rather coyly ‘and by heating up the sheets, they don’t mean spilling your cup of hot tea on the linens’.

The research has indicated that in ancient time’s fruits and spices were used for treating low libido. Peaches and apricots allegedly brought out the youthfulness in women and were used by the Japanese and Australians. Elsewhere around the world Argentineans, Mexicans and Venezuelans drink vanilla to improve their vigour, whilst in Arab countries ginger and cloves serve a similar purpose.

So the new product called Apricot Chai has its creators claim: “created a well-balanced and extremely potent brew – Apricot Chai. With organic origin and well-known reputation for increasing the sexual drive, aphrodisiac tea has layers of fine loose leaf black tea, real peaches, apricot preserves, vanilla bean bits, ginger slices, whole cloves and citrus peel.”

Rather worryingly the company gives instructions on what to do when going to bed, which we will obviously not repeat here.
