Tea bags make it into list of top ten inventions
Here at UKVending we have done away with the need for teabags with our wonderful range of vending machines that deliver tasty, hot and affordable teas and coffees, but we still can marvel at how a simple invention such as the teabag, literally, transformed how we drank tea. So it was nice to read recently that we were not alone with recognising the importance of the humble teabag.
Teabags and the internet were voted among the most important inventions of all time in a poll.
The survey was part of English Heritage’s ‘Ingenious’ season to highlight the innovative objects discovered in its castles, forts and stately homes.
Objects on display include a 1930’s vacuum cleaner at Eltham Palace and a Victorian ice cream make at Brodsworth Hall near Doncaster.
