Tea remains one of the best things for good health
Tea, has for centuries been seen as a great way to calm down after a stressful situation, but now according to new research it could be an essential part of everyone’s daily routine as it is claimed it could be crucial to a long, healthy life.
The Tea Advisory Panel (TAP) have brought together under one banner over 40 separate studies into the benefits of tea drinking and have made an in depth study of the results. Top of the list is the fact that tea is good for the working and upkeep of your heart. Four or five cups of tea a day improves your cardiovascular function as well as lowering blood pressure and reduces the risks associated with stroke and heart attack. What’s more it doesn’t matter if you drink black or green tea as both significantly improve your body’s overall general health by stripping away at levels of LDL cholesterol. In one study the reduction was of the order of a staggering 35.8 percent. Green tea is by far the better option for improvements in overall health however.
If you’re of a certain age tea also improves your cognitive functions.
So go on get a brew on and enjoy drinking tea.
