UKVending’s environmental commitment

It seems everyone is taking the environment and our individual impact on it more seriously these days and that goes for us too at UKVending. We have always prided ourselves on our commitment to a sustainable, recyclable and renewable world and have joined forces with charities and worldwide institutions such as the Rainforrest Alliance to support their work.

Here at our Rochester base we have taken things further still with our environment commitment to be more conscious of our collective impact on the world. To this end we have replaced 130 fluent ceiling lights with 90 LED ceiling lights and in so doing reducing our daily electric consumption from 50 Kwh to 15 Kwh, with our 10,000 Kw solar panels on our roof we be zero natural for 30 weeks this year.

And it doesn’t stop there, if you’re visiting our base in Rochester and you happen to be driving an electric car we have installed electric car charging points for visitors so they can charge up whilst they come in and discuss their needs whilst enjoying a lovely cup of refreshing tea or coffee.
