Vending machine maintenance

At UKVending we pride ourselves on our after sales service and in particular our attention to the cleanliness of our machines. Vending machines are just like any other machine in the workplace and need regular attention to ensure that they perform to their best performance at all times and that includes cleanliness.

UKVending engineers can clean your machine for you during regular inspections, but in between these times it is a relatively simple matter to undertake basic preventative measures.

We suggest that you do the following: Vending machines that dispense packaged goods such as drinks can and packaged sweets and biscuits should be dusted and wiped at regular intervals preferably with an antibacterial solution. Also ensure that even minor spills or leaks are dealt with immediately.

Vending machines that vend or store fresh milk or coffee, however, require a more regular and thorough approach to prevent the build up of contaminants. It is also advisable to regularly check any water pipes that connect with your machines and if a build up of lime scale is discovered have it descaled immediately.
